How I think…

I challenging conventional wisdom, build deep partnerships, and foster collaboration across disciplines, organizations, and cultures in the pursuit of accelerating the journey from technical possibility to real-world impact.

I don't fit neatly into one box — I have cultivated skills across several. Here's a map of where my best ideas come from.

Product Design & Hardware Manufacturing

At the heart of my practice is an appreciation for and love of the physical space.‍ ‍

I’ve spent over a half decade in the trenches of design, manufacturing, reliability testing, CM oversight––putting wild ideas on a blank page and turning them into scaled products that impact lives across the globe.

Operations Research

My operations research training is about more than finding an optimal solution — it's about relating those outcomes to tangible social and policy impact.

I build models (or at least frame issues using modeling frameworks) that support decision-making: connecting experimental performance to commercialization priorities and long-term technology roadmaps.

Data Science and Statistics

I've found a passion for storytelling through data. I believe the strongest decisions begin with rigorous analysis, not assumptions. Building the pipelines, models, simulations, and statistical frameworks that turn data into actionable insight has become a defining part of my work.

Organizational leadership & Program Management

I'm fluent in more than mapping the what. I navigate the messy how — aligning technical teams, executives, and external partners around a shared roadmap.

I treat healthy conflict as fuel for understanding, not friction to avoid, which keeps my perspective clear-eyed and my instincts solutions-oriented.

Capital allocation & Investment Judgment

My engineering and operator background give me a different perspective on what makes a technology fundable — I read the technical risk the way someone who's actually built things does, not just the market opportunity.

In this most recent era, I have put that lens to work: sourcing deal flow and building investment theses for energy and DeepTech ventures
